School Design

The school brief said that school is transparent, has open spaces; lots of light, opening to surrounding community. The idea of the school having lots of light and has open spaces has been met. For example, when the school was designed, it was designed so that there are sky lights on the roof which makes the building have lots of light. The school has lots of windows which makes it more open and also which makes it have lots of light. The school has wide hallways and two classes can be opened to one big one and this meets the idea the school has open spaces. Form follows function principle is applied because the school was designed to be open spaced and having lots of light and the skylights, huge windows, wide hallways and classrooms able to be divided proves that.

The big windows in the class rooms do give alot of light and no one else has said anything about this :.

Yes, I too believe that the school's form follows its function. This can be seen very clearly around the school. Good point and good explanation!

Hey,
Good Job, you talked about all the parts that you were supposed to write about: big spaces and lots of light. I like how you talked about function more than design and the look of things. You also described everything in a positive way, which makes readers believe that the plans for the school were successful and form followed function.

I will have to disagree with this person. He is obviously biased and has been payed off by the school to write good reviews of it.
